Every time I start learning a new craft technique I always have the intention of beginning with the basics and following the instructions step by step to increase the difficulty of the projects. But I never get too far doing this. The young crafter has a new toy brought from her recent trip to Germany: a kumihimo tool :-) Since all the instructions in the kit were in German I had to browse the internet for some help to get me started. I learned the very basics with this video and kept myself busy during the holidays experimenting with the different results obtained by putting the colours in a different order in the beginning. Now I have to keep researching the technique. I'll keep you updated!
