I'm back from the sunny Christmas holidays in Sicily (pictures coming soon) and ready for a new year. Christmas time is not yet finished in Spain, because on the 6th of January we celebrate the Epiphany by giving presents to family and friends. On Sunday we are having the second edition of the Craft Market. I am moving house now so I won't have access to the internet for a few days. But I'll be back soon, promise!

A couple of weeks ago I visited the Interior Design and Art Fair at RDS Dublin. I came home with two artist in my mind. This is what I saw in the exhibition:Flying Souls and a Cross, 2009, gesso/oil on board, 30.5x28cm, by Fionnuala D'Arcy exhibiting with the Fenderesky Gallery from Belfast. Last Sunday was one of the sunniest days I can remember since I came to Ireland three years ago. I know it sounds desperate, but for a Southern European living in this latitude a clear sky all day long and 25 degrees is just a miracle and can only be explained by the intervention of the Divine Providence. It was the perfect weather for the Africa Day at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens. Needless to say that half of Dublin people were there, enjoying the music, the food and getting tanned without giving an euro to Ryanair.
